Lead motion graphic artist

Description:
CoCollective is looking for a Lead motion graphic artist,
You will be the first and only moGraph artist in the team, hence a level of seniority, experience and autonomy is mandatory.
You will be the ‘go to’ person for all things motion graphic related
You would be handed over entire sequences to complete, and you have full freedom to pick your software, workflow, and schedule.

You would be reporting to Camille, Head of CoCollective.
We are a small structure, hence we can tailor the role to your skills.

Things you may want to be responsible for:
-Create entire sequences
-Be able to communicate time, workflow, and their impact on production
-Assess production risks
-Suggest a few routes to deliver the content, and explain the pros and cons
-be able to create mockup/concept, and present them to the client during live call
-Client communication (milestone submission, reception of feedback, live presentation)
-Quality control
-2D and 3D content creation. It can range for 2D still graphics, to entire sequence in full stylised 3D

Ideal profile:
You have excellent technical knowledge and have an established record as an all-around MoGraph (2D, 3D , animation, concept, ect).
You use, C4D or blender, and AE, illustrator.
You have talked/dealt with many departments and points of view (artists, producers, CG supervisor, clients, etc…)
You can see different ways to produce the same scope, and can explain the impact of each option.

Skills:
-All-round MoGraph generalist 
-You have worked in multiple types of industries (ex: animation, commercial, museum, arch viz, feature film, product, etc)
-Some experience mixing 2D and 3D graphics in complex sequences
-A clear mind and a concise communicator-Client interaction experience on a project level  (submitting and presenting milestones, receiving info)
-An open mind to do whatever makes sense. You avoid habit/autopilot-Be friendly and fun.
-No ego. It’s annoying.

Engagement:
-Full remote
-GMT +/-4h
-This is a freelance position. We are pooling freelancers, and you will be called for projects that match your interests.
Ideally, that will lead to a recurring position, slowly getting the established CG MoGraph position at CoCollective
-We are a small team, so we try to be an enjoyable place to work.
-You will work with full remote people from all over europe.  
-You enjoy having a significant impact on how the project is run, and you won’t be micromanaged. You understand you will be accountable for the output of your decisions
